Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competing in the UFC flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is an experienced Muay Thai Kickboxer began her career in fight sport at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won this tournament in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. Antonina later won a Silver Medal in 2007, a Bronze Medal in 2008, a Gold Medal in 2011 and in the IFMA Amateure Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in with her debut in 2003. She took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012, The Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina was last in action against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas, at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Schevchenko set professional MMA records in 2002, when she fought Anara Bazanova in the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She was victorious in the second round TKO, and then won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she made her comeback with Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko won against Anissa by a unanimous vote. She was able to defeat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she left the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina used superior striking in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the clinch. In the aftermath of this victory, Antonina was offered an UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight via unanimous decision. Antonina returned to the ring after losing and defeated Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. This fight earned Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko won her first three fights but then lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina recently lost by TKO in the second round to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
