Both of his parents were missionaries. during his initial years Baker traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker was depressed and was unemployed when Sonia Alane, his mother had to leave his family when he was just 9 years old. Baker was moved to Denver with his father and lived there for a while. Other kids in the area were bullies Baker due to his indigence. After he was in the sixth grade, Baker was able to learn the art of rap. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on April 22 on the 22nd of April, 1990 in Texas. He is best known for his rock-infused hip hop and his modern alternative. Before signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and the year 2010. By the end of 2011, the Cleveland artist became an international star when he changed from self-releasing his mixtapes, and then signing with reputable record labels. His career took off every album charting among the top ten.
